Processing sesame seeds into tahini, and eventually halva, requires advanced craftsmanship and numerous technical stages. Tahini and halva, widely enjoyed across the globe, especially with sesame harvested in Africa, are produced through a complex process involving multiple machines and equipment.

Raw sesame seeds are first sieved to remove foreign matter.
The cleaned seeds are transferred to soaking, salting, and rinsing tanks to remove their outer shells.
Salt is removed in the rinsing tank, and the wet sesame is transferred to the sesame pressing machine.
Around 90% of the moisture is extracted before roasting.
Roasted at 160°C for 2.5 hours, then transferred to a sesame cooling machine.
Depending on the customer’s requirement, sesame may be re-sieved after cooling.
Cooled sesame (approx. 20–30°C) is conveyed via helix or elevator to the tahini grinding mill.
The sesame is ground between abrasive stones down to a fineness of 5 microns.
The integrated pump transfers the tahini either to a storage tank or back to the upper tank for regrinding.
The storage tank includes a mixer and bypass system to homogenize the tahini.
Finally, tahini is filled into containers using semi-automatic or automatic filling machines.
